Davis founded Atigun Capital Partners in January 2016 and completed its first platform investment in that same year. Currently, Davis is Chairman of NorthPoint Recovery Holdings, a behavioral health company located in the Pacific Northwest.

Prior to founding Atigun, Davis was a Director with River Cities Capital Funds, a healthcare-focused growth equity firm with $500 million of capital under management. Previously, Davis was Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Investment Banking for National City Capital Markets. Prior to relocating to Cincinnati, his hometown, he was a Vice President in investment banking with Lehman Brothers, Inc. and Bear, Stearns & Co. in their New York-based Healthcare Groups.

Davis earned an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia and a BA with Honors in Mathematical Economics from Colgate University.

Davis lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife and two children. He enjoys road bike and cyclocross racing with his masters cycling team, outdoor adventures, squash, cooking and his kids’ varied pursuits.

Dave joined Atigun Capital Partners in August 2016. Dave has 20 years of healthcare services experience including roles in private equity, operations and consulting.

From 2011 to 2015, Dave was a Managing Director of BelHealth Investment Partners, a healthcare-focused private equity fund with $500 million of capital under management. Previously, Dave was the CEO of National Medical Management and Transcription, an outsource provider of physician billing and transcription services. He was also Vice Chairman and CFO of Mobile Health Management, a provider of occupational health services. From 2001 to 2008, Dave was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan, where focused on capital raising and M&A for healthcare services companies.

Dave is a member of the boards of Sigma Surgical, a developer of software solutions to improve surgeon quality and efficiency in operating rooms, and Inbox Health, a provider of patient revenue cycle solutions for physicians.

Dave earned an MBA in healthcare management and finance from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Dave loves the arts and culture of New York City and is an avid fan of jazz music. He hopes to one day become a competent jazz pianist to justify the baby grand piano in his NY apartment. He also enjoys reading American history, particularly the revolutionary era and 20th century. When not practicing or reading, Dave and his life partner Elaine take their dog Penny on walks through Central Park.
